The first day of Hindu New Year is called as Ugadi. Chandramana Ugadi is celebrated on first day of Chaitra Maasa whereas Sauramana Ugadi is celebrated when Sun enters the Mesha rashi. Special Puja will be performed on this day to have a great year ahead. Satyanarayana Puja also can be conducted to get blessings of God Narayana.
